THE GREEN TEA GALLERY

When I founded the Green Tea Gallery group on Flickr over four years ago, I introduced the group as if it had been a small photography gallery, using these words:
"Imagine a rainy winter afternoon, gray and cold outside, a nice and warm atmosphere inside the gallery, the smell of the waxed floors in the air and the white walls covered with beautiful pictures while music plays softly in the background."
I opened the virtual doors of this gallery with some of my favorite pictures found on Flickr. I didn't want the Green Tea Gallery to focus on a particular genre or a style. I was striving to embrace beauty in all its aspects and forms.
While my dreams of making the Green Tea Gallery into a very exciting online and printed magazine had to be put on hold due to personal reasons, the Flickr group has been running almost on autopilot. For years, we have continued to receive dozens of daily submissions and, out of those, almost 4,000 amazing pictures made it in the Green Tea Gallery pool. This new section of my website will be used to showcase some of the best images, personally hand picked from the pool.
