@Ilan: i am glad you noticed the amazing similarity with Africa... I didn't mention it in my comment because I didn't know if it was just me having this impression... i wonder what makes it look like Africa, if it's the trees or the light...
Anyways, if you can, at any point in time in your life, a "coast-to-coast" (that's how we call it in Italy as well, here they call it "crosscountry") is a truly life-changing experience, like reading an amazing book that stays with you for the rest of your life... you know what I mean?

@Rosanne: that's kind of the irony. When I opened this website, my world was VERY little. It was 1999 and my home, my workplace, my parents' house and most of my friends all fitted in a square mile. Now, 11 years later, my little world has become what you see here :-)

@joshi: Thank you for the visit!

That's Colorado?! Are you serious?
I was sure it's Serengeti or something..
Stunning.
I'm not sure I told, I was also planning a 'coast to coast' kind of trip few years back. Unfortunately it was canceled, with many other plans due to ... few changes in life.
